What to Expect from This Free Session
6:30 pm – Welcome & Introduction (5 mins)
Settle in, connect, and learn what to expect from the evening.
6:35 pm – Mini Pregnancy Yoga Class (20 mins)
Experience a gentle, nurturing class that gives you a sense of the teaching style and practices included in the training.
6:55 pm – Breathwork for Pregnancy (10 mins)
Try one of the calming, supportive breath practices we use throughout the course.
7:05 pm – About the Course (10 mins)
Hear about the Nurture Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training — what’s covered, how it’s structured, and what you’ll gain.
7:15 pm – Q&A & Closing (15 mins)

Who This Session Is For
This free introduction is open to all qualified yoga teachers and those currently enrolled in a 200-hour teacher training(at least halfway through).
You don’t need to be planning to teach pregnancy or postnatal yoga specifically, this session, and the training itself, are also ideal if you simply want to feel more confident supporting women in your regular classes throughout pregnancy and as they return postnatally.
Course Overview: Nurture Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training
The Nurture: Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is a fully accredited 85-hour course (Yoga Alliance RPYT pathway).
It offers a warm, supportive learning environment designed to help you feel knowledgeable and confident guiding women through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.
What You’ll Learn
- Anatomy and physiology specific to pregnancy and postnatal recovery
- Physical and hormonal changes during each stage
- The spine, pelvis, and joints, and how they adapt
- Muscle action and safe engagement
- Adaptations to asana practice for pregnancy and postnatal needs
- Contraindications and safety considerations
- How to design and set up Pregnancy Yoga and Mum & Baby classes
- Adapting general yoga classes for pregnant students
- The business of Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga, from planning to promotion
